FIELD: radio monitoring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of scanning space in multipurpose radio monitoring systems and can be used in conditions of moderate network loads or in conditions of a small number of active subscriber stations. In the disclosed method, the region of space in which radio objects are searched is set in the form of a solid angle using a mechanically driven mirror antenna equipped with a mode switch and connected to a receiving device. Parameters setting the boundaries of the scanning zone in azimuth and elevation directions, information on types of systems to be monitored and frequency ranges are entered into a computer with a memory device. Space is scanned, antenna control signals are generated in synchronizer, angular positions of the detected directions are determined for subsequent monitoring and, together with scanning parameters, they are transmitted to a computer with a storage device and then to information consumers. At that, using the mode switch and the beam control device, the antenna is set to the line-by-line scanning mode with the specified values of duration of passage along the "horizontal line" and switching of the antenna from line to line in the vertical direction and generating directions of local sectors, where radio objects of interest may be present. Using the mode switch, the antenna is set to the operating mode with sequential fixation by the positions of the found directions of the local sectors and staying in each position during the design time value set by the synchronizer, and when a logical connection of a higher level is detected, data on the identification number of the radio object supporting said logical connection are extracted and stored and transmitted to information consumers.
