FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to boron-fluorine-containing compositions which can be used as high-calorie components of energy condensed systems (ECS), for example, powders, pyrotechnic and explosive compositions, mixed solid rocket propellants. Boron-fluorine-containing energy-rich composition contains a mixture of fuel, which is mechanically activated boron, oxidising agent in form of a mixture of ultrafine polytetrafluoroethylene (UPTFE) and an activating component in an amount which ensures the completeness and rate of transition of boron to boron fluoride and oxyfluoride. Activating component used is at least one metal fluoride containing fluorine from 2 to 5 atomic units in an amount which ensures the rate and completeness of boron transition into boron fluoride and oxyfluoride.
EFFECT: higher thermal stability to 400–550 °C with simultaneous increase in density to 2_8–4_5 g/cm3 and caloric content of energy condensed systems (ECS) by 15–35 %.
