FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to boron-containing fluorinated compositions which can be used as high-energy components of energy condensed systems (ECS), for example, powders, pyrotechnic and explosive compositions, mixed solid rocket fuels. Boron-containing fluorinated energy-intensive composition contains as a combustible mechanically activated ultrafine boron, as an oxidizing agent – ultrafine polytetrafluoroethylene (UPTFE) and as an activating component a nitramine compound – octogene and/or hexogen, at that, contains an oxidizing agent and an activating component in an amount ensuring the speed and completeness of boron transfer to fluoride and oxyfluoride of boron. Composition is obtained by mixing fuel and oxidant, taken in form of ethanol dispersion, with mechanical activation of mixture, followed by addition of nitramine compound, stirring until formation of homogeneous mixture and drying in vacuum of obtained mixture to constant mass.
EFFECT: composition is more energy-intensive and thermally stable, which increases thermal stability with simultaneous increase in ECS density and caloric content.
