FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, namely calibrating, deforming broaching and strengthening inner metallic surfaces of openings of parts by surface plastic deforming.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of applying to tool static load at tightness along worked surface and cyclic pulse load generated by means hydraulic pulse generator and applied to tool from striker and wave-guide. Wave-guide is in the form of stepped rod with steps of small and maximum diameters. Striker is in the form of sleeve embracing small-diameter step of rod and sliding along lengthwise axis of rod. Cross section area of sleeve is similar to that of maximum-diameter step of rod. Relation of sleeve length to length of maximum-diameter step of rod is selected equal to 1.
