FIELD: chemistry; electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave engineering and microwave chemistry and can be used for the microwave method of supplying heat to reagents in a reactor and simultaneously contact heating of chemical reaction reagents, in particular in oil refining processes, namely in hydrocarbon cracking process. Microwave energy supply device includes a vertical working chamber in the form of a cylinder, which contains two round waveguides connected to each other by a bellows. Lower waveguide, which is a reactor zone, is limited by a flat metal short-circuiting plate, and the upper waveguide, which is a tuning zone, is limited by a coupling diaphragm – a flat plate with a microwave power input hole, wherein separating web composed of thin mica plate is arranged between bottom waveguide and bellows.
EFFECT: providing simultaneous microwave and contact method of heat supply to reagents, thermal and gas insulation of the working chamber from external devices, adjustment of the working chamber in a wide frequency range.
