FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method is characterised by the fact that microwave power from generator is supplied through supply waveguide first to transmission resonator with high basic Q, the output communication diaphragm of which is combined with input communication diaphragm of acceleration system (AS), level of microwave power falling to input communication diaphragm of AS is increased in transmission resonator to P'≅Pg(T+T0)/2TT0, where Pg - microwave power from generator. T0 and T are transfer coefficients of the above diaphragm respectively at availability and absence of transmission resonator; at that, T<T0, and transfer coefficient of input communication diaphragm of transmission resonator T1 is determined from equation T1=[1+(T0/T-T/T0)2 /4]-1/2.

EFFECT: smaller size of hole in input communication diaphragm of accelerating structure and reduction of its impact on structure of acceleration field, keeping critical communication of acceleration structure with supply waveguide.
