FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operation of main gas pipelines, in particular to operation of potentially dangerous sections with defective circular joints, which are detected during planned in-line technical diagnostics (ITD). Method consists in analysis of results of ITD for assignment for identification in pits. Pipe perimeter is divided into two zones: compression and expansion. A defect of the annular joint in the compression zone is not subject to identification in the pits. In the stretching zone, an additional analysis is carried out with the selection from it of zones with a bend radius of norm of 1,000 D and more, permissible according to the industry standards of 500–1,000 D, and zones with bending radius less than 500 D for coincidence of geometric and hour coordinates of the defect of annular joints with these zones. In case of coincidence of geometrical and hour coordinates of defects of annular joints in tension zones with bending radius of 1,000 D and more and 500–1,000 D identification in pits is allowed not to be carried out until the next passage of the high-temperature projectile. In case of coincidence of geometrical and hour coordinates of annular joints defect with tension zone and bending radius less than 500 D identification is performed in pits.
EFFECT: objective of the invention is to assess the degree of danger of defective circular joints on sections of main gas pipelines with non-standard bending radius of 500 D and more, where D is the diameter of the gas pipeline.
