FIELD: beverage preparation devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a coffee machine having a coffee vessel attached from the outside for receiving freshly ground coffee. Closing and/or tamping system is provided for closing the coffee vessel and/or compaction of ground coffee in the coffee vessel by providing relative movement between the closing and/or tamping system and the coffee vessel. Vessel for coffee has an inlet hole for water passing through the side wall for supply of heated water into the inner volume of the vessel for coffee.
EFFECT: present invention relates to a hybrid type of machine for producing espresso coffee or a coffee machine, namely with an external portafilter, but with the portafilter closing and tamping performed by the coffee machine to obtain stable results.
