SUBSTANCE: described is a beverage preparation machine (1) comprising at least brewing unit (2) configured to brew a beverage from a brewed substance with a brewing liquid, a brewing liquid supply circuit (3) for the brewing liquid supply into brewing unit (2) and an electronic control unit (5) for controlling the operation of the beverage preparation machine (1). Brewing liquid supply circuit (3) comprises brewing liquid flow rate adjustment electromagnetic valve (11) for brewing liquid flow rate adjustment, supplied to brewing unit (2), and the brewing liquid flow meter (13) for measuring and outputting an electric output signal indicating the amount of the brewing liquid supplied to brewing unit (2). Electronic control unit (5) is electrically connected to brewing liquid flow meter (13) to obtain an electrical output signal therefrom and with solenoid valve (11) for adjustment of infusion liquid flow rate for supply of electric control signal to it. Electronic control unit (5) is configured to store data representing at least a profile (FRP) of the target flow rate of the brewing liquid, indicating change in brewing liquid flow rate over time, which is intended for supply to brewing unit (2) during the beverage preparation cycle and closed-loop control of the brewing liquid flow control solenoid valve (11) based on the electrical output of the brewing liquid flow meter (13) and the target brewing flow rate profile (FRP) to force the current brewing fluid flow rate, fed into brewing unit (2), correspond to profile (FRP) of target flow rate of brewing liquid.
EFFECT: purpose of the present invention is to create an improved professional espresso machine compared to existing professional espresso machines with respect to the coffee brewing process control.
