SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining a potato plant with biallelic mutations in EDR1 gene encoding region using CRISPr/Cas9 plant genome editing method. Obtaining a construct based on the pKSE401 vector containing the nucleotide sequence of the guide RNA SEQ ID NO: 3. The construct is transferred into potato cells using the Agrobacterium tumefaciens bacterium. Regenerated plants with triallelic mutations in the coding region of the EDR1 gene are selected.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain potato plants with triallelic mutations in the coding region of the EDR1 gene for further use of the plant in the breeding process.
