FIELD: heat exchange.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contact stages of heat and mass exchangers for rectification in petrochemical, chemical, food and other industries. Invention relates to a contact stage of a thermal rectification column, consisting of a housing in which upper, middle and lower profiled flanged plates with central flanged holes, through which a refluxing pipe with condensate distributors is passed. Between the middle and lower plates there coaxially installed are external and internal perforated cups with a nozzle, and the ratio of the diameter of the external perforated cup D₁ to the diameter of the internal perforated cup D₂ is made equal to D₁/D₂=1.1–1.8. On the middle plate above the nozzle there are through holes for liquid draining, the total area of which in relation to the cross-sectional area of the horizontal layer of the nozzle is equal to 0.1–0.5, and branch pipes are hermetically installed in central flanged holes of middle and lower plates.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of the stage and the apparatus as a whole, lower cost of the manufactured product.
