SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the contact stage of a thermal distillation column, which includes a cylindrical body in which a reflux condenser is vertically installed, made of a pipe, equipped with condensate distributors, between which there are upper, middle and lower flanged plates equipped with a flanged central hole and flanged holes for the passage of steam to upper plates, made by observing the ratio of the height of the flanging of the ends of the plate h to the height of the flanging of the holes h1, equal to h/h1=0.8-0.9. On the upper plates there is a collar forming an annular channel with a drain hole. Under the upper plates, in addition to the one located above the middle plate, additional profiled plates are installed with a gap, in which the axis of the central flanged hole is shifted in the radial direction from the axis of symmetry of the upper plates in the opposite direction from the drain hole, a chamber for collecting phlegm is made in the annular channel under the drain hole, and on the surface of additional profiled plates in the place of closest approach to the body there is a channel for draining condensate.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the stage, a decrease in the cost of the manufactured product.
