FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular, to process equipment for heat treatment, and can be used for tempering edges of sheet rolled metal products after oxy-fuel cutting. Plant for tempering edges of sheet rolled metal products comprises frame supporting columns with inductors to turn about their column axes. On one column there is a large inductor for tempering long sections of straight edges of rolled sheets, and on two other columns small inductors are installed for tempering curvilinear edges and short sections of rolled sheet edges, having broken geometry, small inductors are fixed on columns by means of staples, allowing to perform additional rotation around staples axis, large inductor and small inductors consist of a fixed U-shaped magnetic core bolted by means of a bracket on a staple through an electrically insulating gasket and two movable pole tips. Magnetic core is assembled from flat vertical U-shaped plates coated with electrically insulating varnish, tied together by pins isolated from the plates, on the upper and lower parts of the magnetic core, coils are put on, which are hollow copper tubes wound along a spiral, on ends of coils there are unions for connection of cooling liquid supply hoses and contact plates for voltage supply, to magnetic conductor ends through vertical guide grooves by means of bolts pole tips are attached, which are a set of flat vertical plates, tightened to each other by pins, held in vertical position by means of pneumatic cylinders; pneumatic cylinders are fixed on the staple and have the ability to move in the vertical direction, while maintaining contact with the end surfaces of the magnetic core, wherein large inductor has longer pole tips and magnetic cores compared to smaller inductors.
EFFECT: expansion of technical and operational capabilities of the plant.
