FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polypropylene composition and can be used to produce foamed sheets. Polypropylene composition for forming a foamed sheet contains from 10 to 50 wt % of reclaimed polypropylene (RPP), having a melt flow index (MFI), determined in accordance with ISO 1133 at temperature of 230 °C and at load of 2.16 kg, from 3 to 25 g/10 min; from 40 to 89.95 wt.% polypropylene with high melt strength (PP-HMS), having melt strength F30 from more than 25.0 to 50 cN and melt extensibility v30 from more than 205 to 300 mm/s, wherein melt strength F30 and melt extensibility v30 are determined in accordance with ISO 16790 : 2005; and from 0.05 to 10 wt.% of a nucleating agent (NA). Invention also relates to a foamed sheet molded from a polypropylene composition, to an article comprising a foamed sheet, to a method of producing a polypropylene composition, as well as to the use of the polypropylene composition for the production of foamed sheets satisfying the ratio (I): bending resistance (MN) / bending resistance (PN) ≤ 1.2 or ratio (II): thermal conductivity at 100 °C / thermal conductivity at 20 °C ≤ 1.5.

EFFECT: creation of disposable processed material, including suitable for disposable cups for hot and cold beverages, having excellent insulating characteristics, especially at high temperatures.
