SUBSTANCE: described is a group of inventions comprising a monoclonal antibody iC2 and its antigen-binding fragment, selectively binding the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the Spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, having virus-neutralizing activity. In one version of the invention, the monoclonal antibody or its antigen-binding fragment comprises a heavy chain variable region (VH) containing the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 3, and a light chain variable region (VL) containing the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 4.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at development of a new monoclonal antibody binding to RBD of the Spike-protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, having high affinity and capable of neutralizing various versions of SARS-CoV-2 virus of Omicron strain.
