FIELD: image processing means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of forming colour images and more specifically to a document including a holographic structure forming a pixel structure, from which a colour image is formed. Protected document comprises: a first layer including a holographic structure forming a pixel structure, each of which includes a plurality of subpixels of different colours, wherein the pixel structure forms continuous lines of subpixels; and a colour modulation means configured to select a pixel colour by changing the colorimetric contribution of subpixels of at least a portion of the pixels relative to each other, to display an individualized colour image from the pixel structure in combination with said modulation means. Colour modulation means comprises at least one of: areas of the holographic structure, referred to as destructed areas, which are locally destructed by the laser; masking means located opposite the pixel structure for local masking of all or part of the subpixels; and amplification means located opposite the pixel structure for local amplification of brightness of all or part of subpixels.

EFFECT: invention provides improved quality of the formed image.
