Method of drying furniture using a cover comprises a cape, a cape retainer, sleeves, sleeve retainers, plugs, a plug retainer and air outlet holes, wherein the cape, which is a moisture-proof and air-tight fabric element, is configured to be placed on top of the piece of furniture and comprises air outlet holes, plugs are made with possibility of overlapping air outlet holes and are fixed on plug retainer, wherein sleeves are made with possibility of fixation to drying equipment by means of sleeve retainers, and cape retainer is mounted along cape edge, consists in placing the cape over the piece of furniture and fixing it with the help of the cape retainer, drying equipment is fixed to sleeves by means of sleeves retainers, drying equipment is activated and drying is performed, plugs are opened in process of drying.

EFFECT: reduced amount of time required for furniture drying, reduced probability of fungus formation after furniture drying.
