FIELD: ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying technology and can be used in drying molded large-sized complex-shaped ceramic articles. Method of drying large-sized complex-shaped ceramic articles includes covering the article with a cover, feeding a heat carrier into the article, drying the article, before supplying the heat carrier and removing the product from the plaster mold, a stretcher is installed and fixed, then a cone forming an air flow is attached to the stretcher, placing it inside the article with provision of the required gap between the top of the cone and the tip of the workpiece of the ceramic article from 250 to 800 mm, after which the mold is turned over and installed on the transport trolley, then, after removal of the retainers, the mold is removed and the article mounted on a transport stretcher with a heat carrier supply cone inside is moved to a drying installation. Before supplying the heat carrier, the article is covered with a cover.
EFFECT: simplification of the drying method and possibility of its application for large-sized complex-shaped ceramic articles.
