FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to ferrous metallurgy and includes a dart for cutting off the final converter slag, a method for its assembly and a system for cutting off the final converter slag. Dart comprises a housing made of refractory material in the form of an inverted truncated cone with a through channel in the centre, lined in the upper part along the inner wall with a tubular bushing built into the housing and having a refractory wall expansion in the lower part at the end, and inserted from below into through channel guide rod equipped with refractory shell, protruding from below the housing and fixed to it by means of corresponding connecting elements arranged on tubular bushing and guide rod. Tubular bushing is located partially protruding from above the housing, is equipped with a nut at the lower end and is filled inside with refractory material. Guide rod is provided with a threaded pin on the upper end, by means of which it is screwed into the nut for fixation with the housing by means of a threaded connection. Thread on the nut and the stud is four-start with pitch of 2.5 mm.

EFFECT: higher operational reliability of a dart by creating a technologically advanced, reliable and safe dart design, that allows to reduce the labour intensity of the process and the harmful effect of the weight on a person while maintaining the quality of positioning the dart in the steel outlet channel of the converter.
