SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transportation of oil and gas and can be used to protect and ensure reliable operation of pipeline sections laid through water obstacles. Invention objective is creation of the pipeline protection and fixation device eliminating disadvantages of analogues and prototype. Device for protection and fixation of underwater pipeline includes protective semi-cylindrical shell, centring semi-rings, angle support elements, fasteners. Protective semi-cylindrical shell comprises water inlets, water outlets, vertical flow guides, horizontal flow guides, water guide shelves, flow dividers.
EFFECT: providing a stable position of the pipeline when crossing water obstacles, reducing erosion of bottom soils.
