FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolytic deposition of hard, wear-resistant, composite coatings iron – titanium – molybdenum disulphide, used for restoration and hardening of surfaces of parts of automotive equipment. Method involves deposition from electrolyte on alternating asymmetric current with asymmetry coefficient β=1.2–6.0 and cathode density 20–80 A/dm2 during mechanical mixing of electrolyte with temperature of 293–313 K and acidity of pH 0.8–1.0, wherein the obtained coating iron – titanium – molybdenum disulphide is heat treated at temperature of 673 K for 1 hour, at the same time electrolyte contains iron chloride, titanium powder “ПТК-1”, hydrochloric acid, molybdenum disulphide powder in the following ratio of components, kg/m3: iron chloride 400–600, titanium powder “ПТК-1” 15–25, hydrochloric acid 0.5–1.5, molybdenum disulphide powder 20–40.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance of coating due to use of composite component in the form of solid lubricant – molybdenum disulphide in coating up to 5%, powder of titanium “ПТК-1” up to 5%.
