FIELD: electrolytic deposition of solid wear-resistant coats, iron-chromium coats in particular used for restoration and surface hardening of parts.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes deposition of coat at asymmetric AC at asymmetry coefficient of 1.2-6 from electrolyte containing the following components, kg/m3: ferrous sulfate FeSO4, 250-300; chromium nitrate Cr(NO3)3, 5-20; sodium sulfate Na2SO4, 20-40 at electrolyte temperature of 20-40°C at interval of cathode current density of 20-40A/dm2.
EFFECT: increased micro-hardness, wear resistance, current efficiency; reduced electrolyte temperature.
