SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a mixed liquid tobacco extract. Method includes the following steps: preparing a first tobacco starting material characterized by a first reducing sugar content S1 and a first nicotine content N1, preparation of a second tobacco starting material characterized by a second content of S2 reducing sugar and a second content of N2 of nicotine. First tobacco raw material and the second tobacco raw material differ from each other. and wherein the first tobacco starting material and the second tobacco starting material are not pre-extracted. After preparing the materials, the first tobacco source material is heated at a first extraction temperature T1 and the second tobacco source material is heated at a second extraction temperature T2. Second extraction temperature T2 is lower than the first extraction temperature T1. After heating the materials, collecting volatile compounds released from the first and second tobacco raw materials during heating, and combining the collected volatile compounds released from the first and second tobacco starting materials during heating to form a mixed liquid tobacco extract.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a compatible composition of a liquid tobacco extract, which is less affected by differences in the type of tobacco in the tobacco starting material, to provide improved control of the composition of the resulting liquid tobacco extract, to maximize the level of desirable flavouring compounds in the obtained liquid tobacco extract with simultaneous minimization of undesirable compounds.
