FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to formation of coatings by electrospark alloying and can be used in various industries of machine building: aerospace, shipbuilding, power, agricultural and others, as well as, in particular, for formation of coatings on working and guide vanes of steam and gas turbines. Device allows excluding the use of an electric motor in a device for electrospark formation of coatings with a rotating electrode. Facilitating the possibility of using the device for electrospark formation of coatings with a rotating electrode manually and reducing the load on the manipulator of the robotic system in case the device is attached to said manipulator.
EFFECT: providing accurate positioning of electrode above working surface of part during its rotation and improving cooling efficiency of hollow shaft with collet with electrode fixed on it.
