SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of formation of coatings by the method for electrospark alloying and can be used in various branches of engineering: aerospace, shipbuilding, energy, agriculture and others, and also, in particular, for the formation of coatings on the working and guide vanes of steam and gas turbines. The device for electrospark formation of coatings is made with the possibility of rotating the electrode and providing cooling of the device parts installed inside its body and the electrode fixed in the collet during operation of the device.

EFFECT: device provides the use of electrodes with different diameters, reducing the level of rotation of the spring with a brush resting against the protrusions on the outer side wall of the hollow shaft, on which the collet with the electrode fixed in it is installed, during the operation of the device.
