FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for eliminating pressure drop caused by re-precipitation of salt in distillation equipment, where salt is a salt obtained from impurities in oil feedstock in distillation equipment, involving the use of a quaternary ammonium compound represented by the following formula [1], as a salt removal agent: 
, where substitutes R1, R2 and R3 each independently represent a hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n denotes integer from 1 to 10.
EFFECT: elimination of pressure loss (pressure drop) caused by salt obtained from impurities in raw material in distillation equipment during operation without negative effect on product quality or production efficiency.
