FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly phlebology, namely to a method for sclerotherapy of veins of lower extremities. That is ensured by injecting a sclerosing agent solution and applying a locally pressing bandage in the form of a plaster on the sclerosing agent administration area, under which a multilayer material is placed. Sclerosing agent used is ethoxysclerol, wherein 1 % sclerosing agent is introduced in telangiectasias, and 3 % sclerosing agent is introduced into the reticular veins. Before applying the dressing, 1 % hydrocortisone ointment is applied on the area of sclerosing agent introduction, and a local pressing dressing is applied with provision of pressure on the sclerosed vein area of 23–32 mm Hg. Sclerosing agent solution is administered in an amount of not more than 2 ml per one procedure; at that, 1 to 8 procedures are performed every 2 to 7 days.
EFFECT: invention provides accelerated healing of vascular defects in sclerotherapy.
