FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to anaesthesiology-resuscitation and toxicology, and can be used for treating decompensated metabolic lactic acidosis in acute severe methadone poisoning. Sodium bicarbonate is administered to the patient, the amount of which in mmol is equal to the body weight multiplied by 0.3 and multiplied by excess bases (BE). After the acute phase of decompensated metabolic lactic acidosis is stopped, Cytoflavin in dose of 0.86 ml/kg of body weight is dissolved in 10% glucose solution and the obtained solution is introduced in dose of 21.42 ml/kg of body weight intravenously by drip at rate of 3 ml/min for 24 hours.
EFFECT: invention provides higher clinical effectiveness in severe patients suffering acute methadone poisoning, reduces a risk of organ dysfunction and a probability of lethal outcome of acute methadone poisoning.
