FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used for reinforcement of slopes, cones of bridges, inclined bases of motor roads, industrial and construction sites, as well as coastlines, channels of water bodies. Geogrid for strengthening slopes and dip-slopes is made of flexible polymer strips, which are made of a composition containing a mixture of high-pressure polyethylene and low-pressure polyethylene, and are connected to each other by weld seams in staggered order, seams are located vertically in relation to ribs of strips. Strips have a zigzag shape, wherein odd bands are connected to even, turned through 180° relatively odd. Strips are connected by vertical lines passing through peaks of zigzags, wherein the connection lines occupy the vertical position in the unfolded form of the geogrid, and the parameters of the zigzag line are selected depending on the pitch of the geogrid and the inclination angle of the slope or slope.
EFFECT: possibility of locating the geogrid along the slope or slope along its entire length without connecting the blocks horizontally to each other, increased strength and stability of geometrical parameters of the geogrid structure, increased bearing capacity of the reinforced soils.
