FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used for reinforcement of slopes, cones of bridges, inclined bases of motor roads, industrial and construction sites, as well as coastlines, channels of water reservoirs, etc. Geogrid for reinforcement of slopes and adjacent soil surfaces is made from strips of thermoplastic polymer material, preferably from strips of polyethylene of low or high pressure, connected to each other in parallel rows with pitch along strip length and with shift in staggered order. Geogrid is made as a single unit of strips of different width for slope and equal width for flat surface, and for slope, width of each subsequent strip decreases from maximum size of strip to minimum, at that value of reduction of each next strip depends on slope length, height of strip and width geogrid cells.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of possibility of obtaining geogrid of this type without additional connection of blocks on slope or slope and blocks on horizontal surface, at the same time the slipping effect of the unit located on the slope or slope is reduced, especially at high values of the slope angle, reduction of the specific load on the geogrid by two times, and also increases the slope angle.
