SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cap of a drinking bottle with a rotary closing cap for an isothermal bottle. Cover (100; 100') comprises at least a housing with filling rim (11; 11') surrounding a filling hole defined by sealing edge (12; 12'); closing cap (20) pivotally mounted on a support member connected to the body; sealing element (30; 30') for sealing of closing cap (20) on sealing edge (12; 12') of the housing. Below sealing edge (12; 12') there is at least one sealing projection (31, 31') of sealing element (30; 30'). Below sealing projection (31, 31') there is outer edge (24) of closing cap (20) attached to support element (44; 44') by means of a threaded connection. Closing cap (20) is connected to the body so that clockwise rotation of closing cap (20) causes a vertical stroke from below towards sealing projection (31; 31').

EFFECT: preventing accidental unscrewing of the cap while maintaining an improved sealing effect when the internal pressure inside the bottle closed by the cap is increased.
