FIELD: packing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing facilities for bottles. Proposed bottle cap has metal cap consisting of cover and skirt connected by bridges and polymeric insert. Said insert is fixed in cover by elastic elements. Central part of insert is made in form of cones connected by ring. Inner cone and ring have thickness greater than outer cone. Outer cone is provided with more thin lower part and convex surface in central part. Diameter of central part of inner cone exceeds inner diameter of bottle neck. Sealing ring is fitted on inner surface of insert. Ring recess is found opposite to sealing ring on outer surface of insert. Ribs on inner surface of insert are arranged over circumference. Cavities are located opposite to insert ribs on outer surface. Lower part of insert is divided from outer side by blind cuts onto support and fixing sections. Fixing sections of insert project below thrust ones being provided with cavities. Bottle cap in process of assembling, sealing and opening of bottle provides increased reliability of sealing, protection from adulteration of product, possibility of use of standard equipment for sealing the bottle.
EFFECT: improved reliability of bottle sealing.
