SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heating unit for an aerosol generating device. Heating unit comprises a heating chamber for heating the aerosol-forming substrate. Heating unit additionally contains a hollow pin, from which the atmosphere is evacuated. Pin is located in the centre in the heating chamber. Heating unit additionally contains a current-collecting layer on the outer surface of the pin. Present invention also relates to an aerosol generating device. Present invention further relates to an aerosol-generating system comprising an aerosol-generating device and an aerosol-generating article.
EFFECT: reduction of heat losses from the heating chamber and from the current collector, as well as reduction of energy intensity of the heating unit.
