FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-frequency surgery, in particular to neutral electrodes. Neutral electrode with a temperature control system includes a flexible substrate with electrodes. Electrodes are made in the form of stainless steel plates arranged evenly in three rows on a flexible substrate with formation of passages with width of 2.0–4.0 mm. Staggered electrodes are short-circuited to each other and form first and second matrices, made with possibility of tight fit in contact area with patient's body surface. Each electrode is equipped with a temperature control element.
EFFECT: higher level of control over neutral electrode state.
