FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a neutral electrode for installation on a patient. Disclosed is a method for using the product, which employs a neutral electrode formed on a patient, for which an electroconductive hardening mass is applied on the patient's skin. Before, during or after application of this mass, an electroconductive insert connected or being connected to the connecting cable of the neutral electrode is placed or introduced into the formed electrode body. Insert serves to achieve electrical contact of the electrode body over a large area, which in turn provides reliable electrical contact with the patient.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides removal of electrosurgical currents.
