SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of vision hygiene and can be used when using digital information display screens. User's eyes during viewing of information from the screen are irradiated with a semiconductor source of ultraviolet-blue radiation in the wavelength range from 360 to 420 nm with energy illumination from 2 to 20 % of energy illumination of user eyes from screen, as well as a source of infrared radiation with wavelength range from 720 to 1700 nm. Source used is an incandescent lamp or a semiconductor radiation source with energy illumination from 2 to 80 % of energy illumination of the user's eyes from the screen.

EFFECT: method provides reducing visual strain from screens, increasing perceived contrast and colour saturation.
