FIELD: methods and apparatus for producing or collecting water.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fresh water from water vapours contained in ambient air. Device comprises a cooled partition separating the condensation zone of water vapour and cooling water, a vessel for receiving fresh water. Cooled partition is made in the form of shields fixed along the perimeter and located at an angle in the direction from the pool filled with sea water at high tide and emptied at low tide, provided in the lower part with weirs with opening and closing doors so that their ends opposite to the fixed ones are in a free state above the vessel for fresh water intake. Solar energy concentrators are installed on holders at the focal distance above the shields. Ends of shields fixed to pool are located in close proximity to weirs. Pool is fenced along the entire side and upper surface with a fine-mesh structure spaced from the side and upper surface of the pool at distance of 1 to 1.5 meters, which is fixed on supports made in the form of pillars having a height greater than the height of the pool, and installed along its perimeter.

EFFECT: eliminating the negative effect of the device during its operation on the state of coastal flora and fauna.
