FIELD: methods and apparatus for producing or collecting water.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fresh water from water vapours contained in ambient air. Device contains shields (5) fixed along the perimeter and located at an inclination in the direction from pool (1), which is filled with sea water at high tide and emptied at low tide. In the lower part, pool (1) is equipped with weirs (2) with opening and closing doors (3) so that their ends opposite to the fixed ones are in a free state above reservoir (6) for collection of fresh water. Above shields (5) on holders (7) at the focal distance there are solar energy concentrators (8). Ends of shields (5) fixed to pool (1) are located in close proximity to weirs (2). Shields (5) are fixed so that they can be extended when the pool is empty at low tide and located at angle of 100° up to 150° in relation to vertical plane with rigid fixation and pushing in until contact with external side surface of pool (1) when it is filled during high tide. Pool (1) is fenced along the entire side and upper surface with fine-mesh structure (9), spaced from the side and upper surface of pool (1) at distance of 1 to 1.5 meters and mounted on supports (10) made in the form of pillars having a height greater than the height of pool (1) and installed along its perimeter.
EFFECT: reduced area occupied by shields during high tide, as well as elimination of negative effect of device during its operation on state of coastal flora and fauna.
