FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to precision laser cladding of metals. Disclosed is a method for laser surfacing of metals, including preliminary preparation of and subsequent deposition of deposited material on place of deposition, consisting of powdered filler material and binding substance, which is melted by means of laser radiation. Powdered filler material used is metal powder or a mixture of metal powders, and the binder used is a volatile solvent and flux. After preparation, slurry is applied on place of surfacing, then volatile solvent is removed from applied slurry by drying method, then it is fused with laser radiation, wherein fusion is carried out with a pulse-periodic laser beam in a process gas medium.
EFFECT: invention can be used for reconditioning of worn-out parts, creation of coatings with improved properties, creation of composite coatings.
