SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for production of serial castings from aluminum. Rotary unit for production of shaped castings from aluminum alloys comprises a rotating platform with molds installed on it, equipment for implementation of alternating technological operations for pouring melt into mold, supercooling of melt in mold, processing of melt in mold with focused electromagnetic, or acoustic, or laser beam in 3D system, forming shaped casting according to preset program, tilting of finished shaped casting, heating of the mold in the chamber before the subsequent pouring of the melt for cyclically repeating the above process operations during the platform rotation.

EFFECT: rotary unit for production of shaped casts from aluminum alloys without using traditional chill molds and sand cores.
