FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photocatalysts. Disclosed is a method of producing a composite nanosized photocatalyst based on titanium dioxide and polytriazinimide, comprising three steps, where at the first step, anhydrous potassium and lithium chlorides, as well as melamine are thoroughly mixed in eutectic molar ratio of 2.75:2.25:1, obtained flux is placed in a crucible and heated in furnace to 600 °C with heating rate 1 °C/min and holding time of four hours with subsequent cooling of the sample in the furnace, then the obtained material is washed six times with distilled water and dried at 100 °C in a drying oven until a pale yellow powder is obtained; at second step, concentrated 30 wt.% aqueous ammonia solution is added to titanium oxysulphate solution, obtained colloidal solution of titanium dioxide TiO2 is then centrifuged eight times at 8,000 rpm using distilled water and the suspension is redissolved in twenty-fold excess of hydrogen peroxide H2O2, pH of the solution is adjusted to 9 with 30 wt.% aqueous ammonia and the volume of the solution is brought with distilled water to half of the total volume of the autoclave; at the third step, the titanium peroxo complex solution is placed in an autoclave, polytriazinimide is added to the solution in a weight ratio of 1:4 relative to the weight of the initial titanium oxysulphate, autoclave is heated at 140 °C for 48 hours, after cooling, the precipitate is washed 3 times with distilled water, then dried at temperature of 100 °C and milled.
EFFECT: obtaining a composite nanostructured photocatalyst based on titanium dioxide and polytriazinimide for carrying out organic synthesis reactions with high selectivity.
