FIELD: composite photocatalyst production.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing a composite photocatalyst based on carbon nitride and titanium dioxide active under the action of electromagnetic radiation in the visible and ultraviolet ranges is proposed. The method is carried out by thermal decomposition of melamine in one reaction zone with titanium dioxide; the composite is prepared in a sealed reaction zone without oxygen access in a melamine to titanium dioxide mass ratio of 1:3 at a temperature of 500°С for 3 hours, after which the resulting material is ground and washed with ethyl alcohol.
EFFECT: obtaining a composite material that ensures the decomposition of organic agents under the influence of electromagnetic radiation in the visible and ultraviolet range.
