FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for protecting an anastomotic stoma formed after an intestinal anastomosis operation, in order to avoid their tension with faeces or to avoid contamination and infection of anastomotic stoma with faeces. Anastomosis protection device comprises a protective sleeve configured to be positioned within the intestinal wall and placed in accordance with the anastomotic stoma, and at least one fixing unit. At least one fixing unit comprises at least one first fixing element and at least one second fixing element. First fixing element is configured to be located on the outer surface of the intestinal wall. Second fixing element is arranged with the possibility of location on the inner surface of the protective sleeve and is arranged in accordance with the first fixing element. First fixing element and the second fixing element are made with possibility of fixation relative to each other by means of magnetic attraction.
EFFECT: device for protection of anastomosis is intended for creation of circumferential space for expansion and contraction of tubular tissue and provision of normal blood supply around anastomotic stoma.
