FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for pre-sowing treatment of seeds of cereal crops, according to which the seed stock is exposed to an amplitude-modulated signal of a high-frequency generator with an operating frequency of 13.56–27.12 MHz, using an air condenser as a load, between the covers of which the treated seeds are placed. Maximum value of specific power released in load has maximum value at maximum value of voltage amplitude of electric signal of high-frequency generator, and the minimum value in the case when the high-frequency signal voltage amplitude is zero, meanwhile the average value of specific power for the period of modulation of the electromagnetic field is maintained unchanged during the whole period of seed treatment. Electric field intensity is 400 V/cm, which provides specific power in load of 0.5 W/cm3, and at signal duty ratio equal to 2, specific power in load doubles.

EFFECT: invention provides high efficiency in the process of seed treatment.
