FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a switch with a USB charger on a cable. For this, the switch consists of protective housing (2) containing means for disconnecting electricity (3), connected between input connector (4) and output connector (5), wherein said connectors are connected to the live wire and the neutral wire of electric cable (6) on which the switch is installed; power supply (7) is connected between input connector (4) and output connector (5) in parallel to means (3); and at least one USB port (8) is connected to power supply (7). Switch also has an electromagnetic interference suppression filter (9) connected between input connector (4) and power supply (7).
EFFECT: possibility of a switch for a common electrical accessory can also be used to charge a battery for an electronic device.
