FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of a fodder additive for use in rations of farm animals and poultry. Method of producing a milk-and-vegetable fodder additive involves mixing fresh or reconstituted milk whey and secondary vegetal raw materials. Vegetable raw material is represented by apple refuses. Fresh or reconstituted curd milk whey and apple refuses are mixed at ratio of 5:1, the mixture is maintained at temperature of 65–70 °C for 4 hours, then cooled to 22–25 °C. Dry yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae is added to the mixture in amount of 0.3% of the mixture weight. Obtained mixture is fermented with periodic stirring. PH=6.0–6.3 is set in the mixture by adding ammonium hydroxide, then lactase enzyme NOLA® Fit is added. Ready mixture is maintained for 6 hours, pasteurized, cooled and packaged.
EFFECT: invention usage will make it possible to produce quality fodder additive based on secondary pectin-containing raw materials and milk whey of high functional value.
