METHOD FOR SELECTING MANAGEMENT APPROACH TO DELIVERY AFTER SINGLE CESAREAN SECTION OPERATION IN FULL-TERM PATIENTS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B8/08

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for selection of tactics of delivery after one operation of caesarean section in patients in term of pregnancy. Elasticity of the scar tissue is assessed by elastosonography, wherein the data are scored depending on the color gradient. At the same time blue color of the investigated area corresponds to 0 points, blue-green—1 point, green—2 points, yellow-green—3 points, red—4 points. After that, cervical maturity is assessed according to Bishop scale, in which "immature" cervix is determined as 0 points, "ripening"—as 1 point, "mature"—as 2 points, and if the sum of points is expressed as value from 4 to 6, then vaginal delivery is chosen, and if the total score is 3 points, then vaginal delivery is selected with spontaneous development of labor, if the total score is less than 3 points, the surgical approach is chosen.

EFFECT: method enables higher diagnostic accuracy of the functional state of cicatricial myometrium, reduced perinatal and maternal risks, as well as increased chances of vaginal delivery by assessing the aggregate of the most significant parameters.
