FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: prediction of delivery for pregnant women with a scar on the uterus is done according to the formula p=1/(1+2,718-582,96+1,216×1000×IR-44,07×TCMP),where p is the unknown quantity; IR is the resistance index; TSMR is the uterine wall thickness in the scar area. The closer is p to 1, the higher the probability of a favourable outcome of natural delivery. The p value approaching to zero indicates the need for a caesarean section.
EFFECT: method allows to predict the possibility of delivery for pregnant women with a scar on the uterus through the natural birth canal due to an assessment of the condition of the uterine scar.
