FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of gas dehydration using a liquid desiccant using an open hydrocarbon flow circuit. Method for dehydration of wet hydrocarbon gas, in which the following steps are carried out: a) providing a crude hydrocarbon gas containing methane, at least C4+ hydrocarbons and water, and b) three-phase separation of said crude hydrocarbon gas, to obtain wet hydrocarbon gas, liquid hydrocarbon condensates and liquid water stream, and sending said wet hydrocarbon gas to step c), c) contacting said wet hydrocarbon gas with the regenerated liquid desiccant obtained in step e) to obtain a dehydrated gas and a liquid desiccant filled with water, d) separating the fraction rich in C4-C10 hydrocarbon compounds contained in the dehydrated gas to obtain a residual gas depleted in C4+ hydrocarbons and a steam stream rich in C4-C10 hydrocarbons, e) regenerating the desiccant filled with water obtained in step c) by performing at least one step of stripping the desiccant filled with water by bringing it into contact with a stream of steam enriched with C4-C10 hydrocarbons obtained in step d), to obtain a regenerated liquid desiccant and a fraction rich in C4-C10 hydrocarbons and containing water; step f) is then carried out in accordance with one of the following two embodiments: embodiment 1: said fraction rich in C4-C10 hydrocarbons and containing water is removed from the process, embodiment 2: said fraction rich in C4-C10 hydrocarbons and containing water is sent to step b), at which three-phase separation of said crude hydrocarbon gas is carried out, as well as a fraction rich in C4-C10 hydrocarbons and containing water obtained at step e), and at step b), before carrying out three-phase separation, the crude hydrocarbon gas is mixed with a fraction rich in C4-C10 hydrocarbons and containing water, or at step b) three-phase separation is carried out in at least one separating vessel, wherein the crude hydrocarbon gas and the fraction rich in C4-C10 hydrocarbons and containing water are fed into at least one separator vessel separately.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of dehydration.
