FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present technical solution relates to computer engineering. Station for detecting defects of the type of cuts in a section of vessels contains: non-deformable bracket, on which, by means of a complete connection, the projectors and the imaging devices are installed so as to fix the beam directions of the projectors and the optical axes of the imaging devices, wherein several sets of spotlights include, each, at least six spotlights, which beam direction is tangent to a cylinder with a diameter included in a certain range of diameters, an electronic system configured to control the vessels, completely corresponding to said ranges of diameters so that during control of vessels, diameter of controlled section of which is included in range of diameters of set, electronic system provides capturing at least six images of each vessel during its passage through the inspection zone, selectively activating said at least six image forming devices simultaneously with corresponding projectors of said set.
EFFECT: faster detection of cuts on sections of vessels with different diameters.
